“DIABLO ROYALE, beer, and some slutty women with tattoos and piercing, and my brother, you’ve got yourself an instant party that’s not over until you say it is. Invite the neighbors and they won’t call the cops.”
Diablo Royale Heads To Snitch
This is one of the newer clubs in NY. As we are all GNR fans it was cool for us to get on stage here. Duff McKagan is one of the owners. Aside from that, the gig went great and our friend Lindsay Ryder was tending bar.
Heading To The Asylum For The Second Time
This is a killer rock festival put on by ZO2 once a month which made it a great official start to our Summer Tour. This was a great show. We had a great crowd with plenty of DR virgins that ate it up.
Celebrating Mike’s Birthday in Brooklyn
This was our second show at Trash Bar. After playing, the band rounded up all of the fans and headed to Choy’s apt for some celebrating. It got pretty messy…
Hitting Brooklyn For The First Time
Gaggle of Cocks invited us to come play in Williamsburg with them. We couldn’t possibly say no. It was a great night with some heavy bands.
Diablo Royale Returns To Crash Mansion
4 months after the CD release party, we made our way back to this LES staple. The open bar went down perfectly.
Arlene’s Grocery III
This was a last-minute fill slot we did for Arlene’s for their weekly Rock and Roll Karaoke show. We opened the night to a very receptive crowd who all stuck around to suck ’em down and try their hands (and voices) at singing along w/ the Karaoke band.
The Underscore II
Our friends Sins Of The Loose Buttons as if we would have them open for us. So we setup our first all ages show and blew the roof off of the place.
The Mean Fiddler
Our first showing at The Mean Fiddler went over rather well. All the usual suspects showed up and we had a great set.
Starr Tucker, NY Waste – May Issue 2007
“Heavy meddlin… DIABLO ROYALE sends their self titled release. Kickin drums, massive guitars and vocals to match, Bad ass rock-n-roar that keeps it evil – they put the devil back in metal.”
Arlene’s Grocery – Rock Asylum
For our first Rock Asylum, we were given the opening slot, but quickly proved that we are deserving of the best slot next to ZO2. We included a cover of Living Loving Maid by Zeppelin, and when G Man couldn’t find his slide, he improvised by whipping out his Zippo of all things and tearing through the solo.
