…And did it ever. After a good break from playing live we were psyched to hit the stage and hell bent on splitting some eardrums. The night had some great bands including our good buddies Shadow’s Lie, and King Hell. DR had another successful showing, and because we rock so hard, we were featured on Sirius XM’s Octane channel with our favorite DJ Kayla! All in all the night was a...[Read More]

GOTHAM ROCKS WAS GREAT
This showcase has been very kind to us, and it keeps on getting better. We had a great time playing with some great bands, Black Water Rising, Fixer, Ashfall, Shadows Lie, Evelyn’s Ashes, aFREUDIANSLIP, and 13th Floor. We won some cool stuff as well, including a recording package at Skyline Studios, and airplay on WSOU.
SUPERNOVA BATTLE OF THE BANDS WIN
This was kind of a last minute show. Adrian and Mike were both out of the country until that day, but we figured, why not? So we showed up, did our set, and the judges loved us and named us best band of the night.
INDUSTRY SHOWCASE
The showcase ROCKED. We had a strong turnout, thanks to you! Plus, we shook hands with the powers that be (literally, one of the people asked Jason and Mike if we were a Christian band). But in all serousness, we met some of the heavy-hitters and we’ll see where it goes in the coming weeks. Thanks for the support on a Tues night.
UNPLUGGED SHOW AT CRASH MANSION
Our plans for taking time off from gigging are quickly coming to an end. We were offered the chance to play unplugged, so we dusted off our acoustics and got to it.
GOTHAM ROCKS
Alright, back on stage after quite a long break. What a great time that was. We had a crowd of 75 of just our own not to mention all the people there to check out the other bands. We also won an endorsement from DR Strings. This showcase continues to impress.
HALLOWEEN AT CRASH MANSION
We were back at our old stomping ground for a great show. The costumes were awesome and the set went very well. It was the perfect send-off for our last big show of the year. I could talk more about it, or let the pictures do the talking…
FRIGHT FEST AT GREAT ADVENTURE
We played Great Adventure for the first time in August and headed back for their Halloween festival. It was a great time, the stage was an awesome castle and the fans ate it up. We played with Hybrid Dawn, World’s End and Evelyn’s Ashes. Can’t wait to do it again next year.
DIABLO ROYALE NAMED BAND OF THE YEAR
This was the fliptup.com finals. We competed against two other bands for audience/online votes and the judges blessing. With over 1,000 online votes and winning with the judges we won some cash, media promotion in the Philippines and a free music video. Thanks to everyone for voting and thanks to Erica for this pic.
DIABLO ROYALE ON FIRE, LITERALLY
This was our first show at the Dirty Bomb festival which takes place once a month at The Delancey. We got on stage to do our set and everything was running great. That is until our second to last song when Gerard’s amp started smoking. We finished out the song, and Gman wisely unplugged everything and stepped off stage. That is definitely one for the history books.
GOTHAM ROCKS THE THIRD
This is the third Gotham Rocks showcase and it was a huge success. We played in front of a crowd of 300 people won a placement in Revolver Magazine and an enodorsement from Spector. Most importantly, we played with some serious bands including, Domi, Killcode, The Speaks, Maddam Ink, Shadows Lie and Black Water Rising, giving the fans a night they will not soon forget.
